Job summary

Grant Regional Health Center seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist – Flex in Lancaster, WI. This part-time .8 FTE position includes night shifts (6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.) with a $3.00/hour shift premium and every 3rd weekend rotation; daytime hours 5:45 a.m.–6:15 p.m.; holiday rotation required.

Department operates 24/7/365 with rotating shifts. The Laboratory Technologist will oversee procurement, specimen dispatch, quality control, and fiscal management while performing

Qualifications

• Must be certified or eligible for certification as medical lab technician, medical technologist or equivalents.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Previous experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and/or specimen collection.
• Manage laboratory testing including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis and microbiology.
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed and documented.
