Mayfield Brain & Spine in Ohio seeks a flexible Medical Assistant to support Neurosurgery and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation providers. This role blends clinical and administrative duties, with priorities shifting to meet patient and team needs in a fast-paced specialty clinic.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma (Medical Assisting program preferred) and experience with EMR software, plus strong communication and empathy to ensure compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; MA program preferred.
• Experience as Medical Assistant preferred but not required.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical and administrative support to Neurosurgery and PM&R providers.
• Prepare patients, document vital signs, medication lists, and histories.
• Manage patient flow and clinic operations.
• Assist with procedures, prepare rooms, and handle supplies.
• Maintain EMR documentation and coordinate communications with pharmacies and labs.
