Job summary

Spindle is seeking an Instructional Aide Sub to provide school-based support near Macomb, IL. This flexible, per diem role lets you influence students academically, socially, and behaviorally in classroom settings.

You’ll work one-on-one or in small groups, assisting with daily routines, transitions, and behavior support plans while following IEPs. This position offers weekly pay and flexible assignments aligned with your availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• TB test as required by district.
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist students with lifting if necessary.
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain them before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support in classrooms.
• Assist students individually or in small groups as guided by teachers or staff.
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement.
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as directed.
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs.
• Maintain an inclusive, safe, and respectful classroom environment.
