Job summary

Delta-T Group Illinois, Inc. is seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals to support students in Oak Forest and surrounding areas. You will assist teachers and help students reach their academic and social potential in a dynamic classroom setting.

Ideal candidates are patient, dependable, and able to work with children with diverse learning needs. High school diploma required; associates or higher preferred. Opportunities offer weekly pay and flexible schedules through a national referral agency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with children or in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with school staff.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
• Experience supporting students with special needs is a plus.
• Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent (associates or higher preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support under the direction of the lead teacher
• Assist students with academic tasks, assignments, and instructional activities
• Support students with behavioral management and social development
• Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and supervision (e.g., lunch, recess)
• Document student progress and communicate effectively with staff
