Teacher Tutors is hiring a part-time Middle School Tutor to join our team on a flexible basis. This in-person role in Livingston, NJ supports students in grades 6–8 across core subjects, homework, and study skills.

You’ll tailor sessions to each student’s needs and travel within a willing radius. We value classroom experience at the middle school level, strong communication, and the ability to explain concepts in multiple ways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; teaching certification strongly preferred.
• Classroom teaching experience at middle school level or comparable experience across multiple subjects.
• Experience teaching across core middle school subjects and supporting study skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one tutoring tailored to each student’s courses, family expectations, and goals.
• Support students in core subjects, homework completion, test prep, and long-term projects.
• Move between subjects within a session and adjust pacing based on student needs.
