Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a Restaurant Utility Worker to help maintain a safe, clean, and well‑kept Zaxby’s location. You’ll perform daily cleaning and basic maintenance, supporting overall restaurant operations.

The role requires 18+ years old, reliable transportation, and ability to work 9–28 hours for part-time or 32–40 hours for full-time, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Opportunities to advance available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Part-time: available to work 9 to 28 hours per week; Full-time: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Complete all training requirements required by Zax LLC
• Oversee the location to provide a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment
• Perform daily cleaning duties and basic maintenance of restaurant
• Perform regular cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment
• Inspect, operate, or test equipment to diagnose malfunctions
• Oversee minor lighting repairs
• General cleaning including deep cleaning and pressure washing inside/outside the location
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
• Keep neat maintenance records
• Ensure compliance with Zaxby’s guidelines and procedures
• Work safely and follow safety guidelines
• Maintain flexibility to exceed position parameters
• Report HR and risk concerns to the GM and District Manager
• Escalate concerns to your supervisor when appropriate
• All other duties to ensure operations run smoothly
