Job summary

Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support multiple specialties and enhance the patient experience. The RDA will work in back offices and lobbies, assisting with treatments across orthodontics, pediatrics, endodontics, and surgery while maintaining high standards of care.

The role requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant license with Texas Board of Dental Examiners.
• CPR and AED training must be current.
• Nitrous oxide monitoring certification preferred.
• Keep OSHA, HIPAA and infection control training current.
• Experience with dental practice management software (Open Dental or Dentrix) is helpful.
• Sealant, coronal polishing, or PALS certifications are a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and stock replenishment with the Lead DA.
• Prioritize patient and team safety and maintain clean, safe environments.
• Adhere to OSHA and infection control protocols and proper waste disposal.
• Maintain digital patient records including health history, eligibility, treatment plans, and authorizations.
• Educate patients and parents on oral health benefits and procedures.
• Chart new treatments and prepare exam rooms and equipment for doctors.
