Rodeo Dental is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant to join our back office and lobby teams in Texas. You will provide direct patient care across dental specialties, support safe procedures, and help maintain patient records and charts.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas RDA license, CPR/AED, and experience with Open Dental/Dentrix; Spanish language skills are required. The role involves flexible schedule hours including evenings and weekends to support patient needs.

Qualifications

• Must maintain an active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license registered with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE).
• Active CPR and AED training required.
• Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.
• Dental practice management software experience (Open Dental/Dentrix) helpful.
• Sealant, Coronal Polishing, or PALS certifications are a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish required.

Responsabilités

• End of week inventory to be provided to Lead DA to replenish inventory.
• Prioritize patient and team safety in all procedures.
• Adhere to OSHA and infection control protocols; dispose of sharps and waste safely.
• Maintain digital patient artifacts including health history, eligibility, treatment plans, and appointments.
• Educate patients and parents on oral health benefits.
• Monitor patient well‑being throughout visits.
• Prepare tray setups according to doctor preferences.
• Ensure rooms and operatories are cleaned, disinfected, stocked, and organized.
• Chart existing treatments and update patient charts with fillings, crowns, sealants, etc.
• Review patient charts before doctor arrives and reconfirm chief concerns.
• Take diagnostic X‑Rays and attach to patient chart.
• Assist in cleaning surfaces and common areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
