Job summary

The City of New York's Office of Rehabilitation Services seeks an Administrative Director of SOC (1005C) to lead rehabilitation services across CAS programs, align with goals, and supervise CAS Social Workers. This role promotes service coordination and strong staff development within a complex public sector environment.

You will collaborate with OBSS, design policies, and produce performance reports to enhance care delivery for vulnerable populations, with cross-agency collaboration at the core

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years progressively responsible experience, including one year at managerial level in a public social services setting.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating across multiple programs is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer, coordinate, and support rehabilitation services among CAS programs (SUCAP, WeCARE, ORA) and other HRA initiatives, ensuring delivery of comprehensive services.
• Supervise CAS Social Workers, provide oversight, and support professional development; monitor fieldwork and site visits.
• Collaborate with OBSS to strengthen client workflows and integrate rehabilitation approaches into CAS systems.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders to improve cross-agency collaboration and address service gaps.
• Design, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to enhance service coordination and program operations.
• Produce reports and analyze performance to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by CAS senior leadership, including special projects and staff training.
• Hours/Schedule: 9:00am-17:00pm (Flexible) and perform duties for Administrative Director of SOC - 1005C.
