Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Garner, NC seeks a Per Diem Personal Care Assistant I or II to provide in-home environmental, nutritional and personal care support, helping clients stay safely in their own homes.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health, prepare meals, and accompany clients to appointments while maintaining a clean, safe living space and reporting changes to the Branch Manager. CPR or renewal within 90 days preferred.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation to client locations.
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience is preferred.
• Flexibility to work varying hours to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living support: bathing, grooming, denture care, nail care, and meal preparation.
• Offer environmental and household assistance essential to personal care and client safety.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments or errands as needed.
• Record vital signs and report observations to supervisor as trained.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and assist with transfers and mobility.
