Job summary

Nutrition 101 LLC in Pendleton, IN is seeking a Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator to act as the operational link between customers, drivers, and third-party carriers. You will plan and execute daily movements of company assets while securing capacity and managing costs to ensure safe, reliable service.

This full-time on-site role requires balancing customer expectations, equipment availability, and carrier relationships, with emphasis on safety, service, productivity, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years dispatch/logistics coordination experience in transportation/industrial setting
• High school diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor's preferred in logistics, SCM, or business
• Experience with fleet scheduling, route optimization, and load planning is highly desirable
• Proven ability to manage communications with CDL drivers and fleet operations
• Proficiency with dispatching software, TMS, GPS tracking, and MS Office
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and driver hours of service rules
• Customer-focused mindset with ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Direct daily assignment of drivers and fleet through dispatch and route planning
• Maintain situational awareness of logistics landscape and support operations
• Provide exceptional customer service through proactive communication
• Maintain vehicle records and inspection reports per DOT requirements
• Source, negotiate, and manage third-party transportation providers when needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders
• Monitor carrier performance and ensure alignment with company standards
