TravelCenters of America is seeking a Cook to join our restaurant team. You will prepare and present quality food to guests and support a variety of cooking tasks to help travelers eat well on the road.

Key duties include prep work, grill station setup, following plate presentation guides, and completing safety and temperature check tasks. The role requires teamwork, flexibility, and strong communication with leaders and teammates.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with others and be part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsabilités

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service.
• Perform prep cook tasks such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients.
• Perform grill cook tasks, such as setting up broiler, fryer and grill stations; prepare products to guests' specifications and follow plate presentation guides.
• Complete prep, freezer pull and temperature checklist sheets.
• Practice safe food handling and storage, waste control, report unsafe situations.
• Prioritize work according to restaurant and guest needs.
• Build communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
