Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist for Home Health on a flexible/PRN schedule. The role involves interpreting physician referrals, conducting assessments, and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients in home settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Virginia.
• AHA BLS-certified within six months of employment.
• One year of clinical experience in home health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on physician referrals and age-appropriate assessments.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with the care team and families.
• Document in the medical record and complete forms per regulations and policies.
• Supervise OTAs and collaborate with therapy staff to ensure quality care.
• Participate in in-services, program evaluation, and staff meetings.
