Job summary

BrightStar Care of Concord, Lexington and Woburn in Burlington, MA is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or caregiver for part-time and per diem roles. You will provide in-home care, companionship, and support to clients, following individualized care plans and ensuring safety and well-being.

This role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement. Prior HHA experience and a valid Home Health Aide certificate are preferred, with CPR and TB screening

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• HHAs must have valid/verifiable Home Health Aide Certificate from a reputable educational program.
• Preferred: one (1) year of documented caregiver/home care experience.
• CPR certification and TB skin test or chest X-ray.
• Background check and drug screening.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well-being.
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure client safety and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation as needed.
