Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to provide in-home care in the North Shore area of Nassau County. The role offers flexible scheduling and both 1099 and W-2 options to accommodate your preferred work style.

We welcome all levels of experience and will train new graduates. The position requires NY licensure in good standing and travel to patients’ homes within the assigned geographic territory.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in New York or eligible.
• OT program graduate or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Accept and treat patients within designated geographic area.
• Provide 1:1 treatment and develop individualized plans.
• Deliver care aligned with standards and plan of care.
• Educate family members and caregivers on therapy techniques.
• Plan and carry out OT programs to maintain or restore function.
• Perform initial exam and document accurately for each visit.
• Evaluate treatment progress and adjust as needed.
