Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Half Moon Bay, CA is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home nonmedical care for seniors. Flexible part-time or full-time hours (10–40 weekly) with shifts in morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight.

Caregivers follow clients’ care plans, assist with ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation. Applicants must be 18+, hold California Home Care Aide Registry registration, pass background checks, and complete required training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current registration with the California Home Care Aide Registry.
• Criminal background check completed or willingness to disclose history.
• Evidence of entry-level training or plan to complete paid training per CA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) within scope of practice.
• Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
