Job summary

Big Minds, Tiny Hands is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide home-based Early Intervention services to children from birth to age three with developmental delays. This fee-for-service position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work directly with families in their natural environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and licensure eligibility.
• Experience with pediatric population (birth to 3 preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services in the child’s home or community setting.
• Develop and implement IFSP-based treatment plans.
• Address fine motor, sensory processing, self-help, and play skills.
• Use play-based, routine-based, and evidence-based strategies.
• Coach caregivers to support skill carryover.
• Complete notes daily and submit progress reports on time.
• Collaborate with service coordinators and team members.
• Ensure compliance with EI guidelines and billing requirements.
