Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services Inc. is seeking Child Development Specialists to deliver high-quality early intervention services to infants and toddlers in homes, daycare centers, and community settings across California.

You will conduct developmental assessments, support families, and help children reach developmental goals using a family-centered coaching approach. We offer flexible schedules and locations, with some virtual options, and a sign-on bonus up to $500 along

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in child development, early childhood, teaching or related field OR a special education teaching credential.
• Early Intervention Experience Preferred
• Home-Based Service Delivery Experience Preferred
• Strong Interpersonal Skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide child development services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and ensure progress generalization.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment (homes, daycare centers, community settings) and via virtual services.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA/state/federal regulations).
