Job summary

Target is hiring an On-Demand Team Member (Guest Advocate) to help guests, manage flexible shifts, and deliver friendly service. Orientation and structured training ensure you are prepared for the role. You can pick up shifts via the myTime app, aligning with store needs and scheduling requirements.

You will be expected to respond to contact attempts, maintain reliability, and uphold Target policies while assisting guests with purchases, returns, and loyalty programs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture prioritizing the guest experience
• Create a welcoming environment as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to understand and solve their needs
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to assist guests
• Thank guests and confirm their appreciation for shopping at Target
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality
• Inform guests about brand launches and store activities
• Explain and assist with Target Loyalty programs as needed
• Explain Wallet and Target App features to guests
• Process returns following register prompts and guidance from leadership
• Work with leaders to de-escalate situations and recover guest experience
• Provide easy, accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies as needed
• Demonstrate safety, ethics and compliance in all tasks
• Perform cash office support and other duties as required
