Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Savannah, GA. The role involves repairing and maintaining complex electrical and mechanical systems, interpreting schematics, and coordinating with engineers to ensure production uptime.

The ideal candidate has strong PLC and robot programming skills, experience with hydraulics and pneumatics, and a proactive approach to safety and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance
• Experience in electrical installation and maintenance on plant electrical systems and equipment
• Experience in mechanical installation and maintenance on plant systems and equipment
• Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation; log test readings and perform repairs as needed
• Interpret blueprints, hydraulics and pneumatics diagrams to determine methods and sequences
• Collaborate with engineers to implement operating procedures and resolve malfunctions
• Diagnose equipment failures and recommend corrective actions
• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure conformance with specifications
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems
• Travel for training if required (in-state)
• Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures
