Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) seeks an Off-Line Assistant Manager for the GA plant. You will act as a technical expert, lead area during launches, and coordinate equipment installation, supplier selection, and project phases, while managing labor allocation and daily production challenges.

The role requires 5+ years in production leadership, a engineering degree or equivalent, and strong data-analysis and reporting skills. Travel may be domestic or international.

Qualifications

• Management experience in vehicle production (5+ years).
• Experience with production operations (5+ years).
• Data analysis and proposal development skills.
• Off-line work/repair line experience.
• Engineering degree or equivalent desired.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert for Team Members including training.
• Lead area during vehicle launches.
• Support daily production issues.
• Prepare presentations/reports for management.
• Understand and control labor allocation.
• Coordinate and lead project activities: new equipment installation, supplier selection, implementation phases.
• Analyze and improve performance in safety, quality, production, cost, and human factors.
• Participate in Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and other problem-solving teams.
• Review technical developments and propose new technology projects.
• Administer and comply with BMS, EMS, SMS requirements.
• Travel: Domestic / International travel as required.
