Job summary

The Warrior Hotel, a Marriott Autograph Collection property in Sioux City, IA, seeks a Front Desk Agent for part-time flexible hours. You will greet guests, check them in/out, process payments and provide local information to ensure a smooth stay.

Responsibilities include upselling services, maintaining a house bank, handling guest requests, and supporting shuttle operations as needed. Hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with major hotel brands (Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt) preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Able to read and write to facilitate communication.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computational ability.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests on arrival and register them into the system.
• Accept payments at registration and checkout; handle cash and maintain a house bank.
• Issue keys and manage access to safety deposit boxes; post charges as requested.
• Address guest inquiries, complaints and requests promptly and professionally.
• Answer phone calls and assist guests with reservations, check-ins and check-outs.
• Provide knowledge about local area, hotel services and amenities.
