Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Casual Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Covington, WA. The role involves flexible scheduling and travel to additional sites as needed, performing skilled specimen collections and providing excellent patient service.

You will work in a patient-facing environment with opportunities for growth within the Labcorp network. A WA phlebotomy license is required, with preferred 3–6 months of relevant experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington-issued phlebotomy license.
• 3+ months of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• 6+ months of current or prior Labcorp phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
