Qualifications

• CDA credential with 1,560 hours of experience in a licensed early childhood setting or public school system.
• AA degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field with 12 credits of education-related coursework and 1,040 hours experience in a licensed early childhood setting or public school system.
• BA/BS degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or related field with 12 credits of education-related coursework and 1,040 hours experience in a licensed early childhood setting or public school system.
• MA/MS degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or related field with 12 credits of education-related coursework and 1,040 hours experience in a licensed early childhood setting or public school system.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom staff with daily activities and classroom management.
• Support activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum and children’s interests.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and positive relationships with parents and staff.
• Ensure knowledge of medical conditions/allergies for appropriate response.
• Lead activities as assigned and participate in center leadership tasks.
