Job summary

Acquire4Hire is seeking a dedicated float teacher to cover breaks and prep time in Monroe, WI. The role runs 9-5, Monday through Friday, providing an opportunity to support young learners in a structured environment.

You will collaborate with parents and staff, document development, and adapt activities to individual needs while following lead teachers' plans. A high school diploma and early childhood coursework are required, with benefits including health insurance and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent per Wisconsin DPI.
• Two non-credit or for-credit early childhood education courses required.
• Must have 240 hours of experience in an early childhood setting.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with parents and co-workers about children's behaviors and development.
• Observe and record significant behavior of children.
• Maintain classroom materials and supplies.
• Use knowledge of child development to offer an age-appropriate learning environment.
• Follow classroom daily schedule.
• Show awareness of individual needs and help children learn to satisfy them.
• Follow lesson plans left by lead teachers.
