Acquire4Hire is seeking a Relief Teacher (Floater) to support daily operations in a childcare center. You will provide flexible classroom coverage, maintain safety, and assist with routines across ages. The role emphasizes teamwork, proper ratios, and a positive learning environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or Associates Degree, and CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain. Prior childcare experience or coursework is a plus, with a part-time morning schedule possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or higher is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Experience or coursework in early childhood education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in assigned classrooms ensuring proper staff-to-child ratios.
• Step into classrooms during breaks or absences to provide coverage.
• Assist with daily routines: arrival, meals, rest, diapering, and dismissal.
• Support teachers with activities and transitions throughout the day.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and a nurturing learning environment.
