Job summary

The Learning Experience #481 is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Floater Teacher to support classrooms across infant, toddler, and preschool programs. You will step into different classrooms as needed to assist with learning activities and daily routines while helping maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates are flexible, reliable, and communicative, with a nurturing, patient approach and a willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Comfort and confidence working with children ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old.
• Flexibility to support multiple classrooms and age groups throughout the day.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities, classroom assignments, and staffing needs.
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR certification.
• A patient, nurturing, energetic, and professional approach to working with children.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across infant, toddler, and preschool programs as assigned.
• Assist with implementing engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Help maintain safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environments.
• Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, toileting, meals, rest time, and transitions.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Follow classroom schedules, center policies, and state licensing requirements.
• Step into different classrooms as needed to maintain quality care and appropriate staffing levels.
• Support teachers and leadership in ensuring smooth daily operations.
