Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to support an adult with developmental disabilities in Essex County. This one-to-one role involves community outings, promoting independence and social connections, and following individualized support plans.

The schedule is 2 days per week (Mon, Wed, or Fri), 3:30–6:30 PM, Fairfield NJ 07004. Driving on shift is REQUIRED; onboarding, background checks, and training will be completed.

Someone who is confident, patient, and comfortable taking the lead, with the ability to set clear expectations and stay consistent. Must enjoy staying active and moving around while supporting a friendly individual in their late 20s who is autistic and nonverbal and enjoys community outings, shopping, the library, parks, baking and cooking
