Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. You will work one-on-one with individuals following each person’s ISP to promote independence and daily living success.

The role offers flexible hours, in-home and community-based settings, and opportunities to grow within a DDD-focused agency while contributing to a compassionate, reliable care team.

Qualifications

• Need to be 18 years or older.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
