Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on support in homes and communities across New Jersey. DSPs work one-on-one with individuals, following each client’s ISP to promote daily living skills and independence.

The role offers flexible hours and case assignments with a pay range of $18–$24 per hour, depending on experience. Belonging to a DDD-focused agency, you will join a supportive team and have opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
