Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. You will work one-on-one, following each person's ISP, in both home and community settings.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, documenting services, and building meaningful relationships with clients. Comprehensive onboarding and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
