Job summary

Thrive Community Support Services (Thrive CSS) in Newtown, PA is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to help adults with developmental disabilities build independence and meaningful daily lives.

You will work in homes and communities, following individual plans, with flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts; both part-time and full-time roles are available, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Pass PA background clearances.
• Comfortable working independently while part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines like meal prep, personal care, and household tasks.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and self-advocacy.
• Assist with community activities, employment, and social engagement.
• Follow individualized support plans and health/behavioral strategies.
• Ensure safety, dignity, and respect at all times.
• Communicate with supervisors and complete basic documentation.
