Job summary

Thrive Community Support Services (Thrive CSS) seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with IDD in homes and communities, helping build independence and meaningful routines.

DSPs support daily living, skill development, and community participation while following person-centered plans and health directives. Flexible daytime, evening, and weekend shifts are available, with competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background checks (PA clearances) will be required.
• Strong communication and a compassionate, patient approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience supporting individuals with IDD is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (personal care, meal preparation, household tasks).
• Support skill development to promote independence and self-advocacy.
• Encourage participation in community activities, employment, and social opportunities.
• Follow individual support plans, behavioral support strategies, and health plans.
• Ensure health, safety, rights, and dignity are upheld at all times.
• Complete accurate and timely service documentation.
• Communicate changes, concerns, or incidents to supervisors as required.

Thrive Community Support Services (Thrive CSS) is seeking compassionate, reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in their homes and communities. DSPs play a vital role in helping individuals build independence, meaningful routines, and strong community connections.
