Job summary

Help at Home is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one care for individuals with developmental disabilities in clients' homes and communities. You will help clients live as independently as possible, supporting daily living activities and community participation.

Starting pay ranges from $13–$15 per hour with weekly pay. Eligible candidates must be at least 18, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, pass a background check and required training, and have a valid

Qualifications

At least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful background check and required training.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients' homes and communities.
Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings.
Assist with daily living activities (cooking, cleaning, personal care, transportation).
Encourage participation in social and community activities.
Help individuals achieve personal goals and progress.
Promote choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
Document care, activities, and progress; communicate with team to ensure quality support.
