Job summary

Help at Home in Indiana is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.

You will help with daily living skills, encourage social participation, and document progress while collaborating with a care team. Applicants should have a high school diploma, be at least 18, possess a valid license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Background check will be completed and any required training.
• At least 18 years old and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
• Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Help individuals set and achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Document care, activities, and progress; communicate with the care team to ensure consistent support.
