Sevita's Mentor Community Services in Florissant, MO is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independent, connected lives at home and in the community. This full-time, mission-driven role offers meaningful work and opportunities for growth.

Starting pay is $19.65/hour. You’ll support daily living skills, meal prep, personal care, and accompany clients on outings.

Qualificações

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED, or 5 years of documented caregiving experience
• Valid driver's license with at least 1 year of driving history
• Reliable, insured vehicle
• Able to pass required background checks
• Experience as a caregiver, CNA, or in support services is a plus, but not required

Responsabilidades

• Support individuals with daily living skills like cooking, hygiene, and budgeting
• Help with meal preparation and personal care
• Administer medications after completing required training and certification
• Join individuals for community outings, appointments, and activities
• Follow each person's support plan and keep accurate notes
• Build trusting relationships and celebrate each person's progress
