Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independent lives within their homes and communities. This full-time DSP role offers $18.00 per hour, with DailyPay available and flexible per diem scheduling for work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Ability to provide proof of education (required).
• Valid driver's license (required).
• Ability to pass all required background screenings, including FBI clearance when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support in accordance with each individual's Person-Centered ISP.
• Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and desired outcomes.
• Support activities of daily living, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household tasks.
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community events as needed.
• Assist individuals in accessing community resources and supports.
• Administer or assist with medications as required.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with program and clinical staff to ensure quality services.
• Promote healthy, safe, and socially appropriate behaviors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
