Job summary

Dungarvin in Austin is seeking a Direct Support Professional Float (DSPF) to provide direct care and clerical support for individuals with disabilities. You will empower clients to live as independently as possible, while maintaining dignity and respect, with assignments across multiple programs.

Starting pay is $11/hour, with a flexible schedule; training and orientation are provided, and benefits include health, vision and dental insurance, along with retirement and paid time off opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of prior experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid Driver's License; some roles may require own vehicle and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to individuals served.
• Ensure comfort, safety and personal growth of individuals.
• Assist with daily living tasks (mobility, dressing, bathing, hygiene).
• Schedule appointments and coordinate transportation to community activities.
• Maintain and update medical records per policy.
