Job summary

Espire Dental in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a passionate dental professional to join our team as a full-time dental assistant. You will prepare patients, assist dentists, manage sterilization, and support x-ray imaging while delivering outstanding patient care.

You should be familiar with dental equipment, Cerec, and intraoral scanning; experience with sedation and implants is a plus. Training may include travel, and you will work with digital records to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A passionate dental professional who loves what they do and builds trust with patients and team members.
• Familiarity with dental equipment and instruments, including Cerec and intraoral scanning is a plus.
• Experience with sedation and dental implants placement and restoration is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in training, which may include travel.
• Experience using digital technology and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients for dental work and assisting dentists during procedures.
• Infection control, sterilizing instruments, setting up trays and materials.
• Assisting with dental emergencies and supporting hygienists as needed.
• Providing excellent patient care and recording treatment in patient records.
• Exposing dental X-rays and caring for X-ray equipment.
• Educating patients on dental hygiene and plaque control.
• Collecting medical/dental histories and vital signs.
• Providing postoperative instructions and maintaining equipment inventory.
