Job summary

Beatty Nursing & Training, LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Delegating Nurse / Case Manager in Maryland. The role focuses on promoting health, safety, and well-being for individuals with developmental disabilities in residential settings through delegation-based nursing.

Responsibilities include ongoing assessments, supervising unlicensed staff, staff training, and ensuring timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of Maryland.
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience.
• Experience working with the developmental disabilities population.
• Maryland DDA-trained DD-RN certification (or eligibility).
• Current HRST certification.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Delegating nurse experience preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial, 45-day, post-hospital, and ongoing nursing assessments.
• Delegate and supervise medication administration and nursing tasks performed by unlicensed staff.
• Train and evaluate staff competency in delegated duties.
• Review MARs and physician orders.
• Collaborate with program directors, agency leadership, and healthcare providers.
• Ensure nursing documentation is completed within regulatory timeframes.
