Beatty Nursing & Training, LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Delegating Nurse / Case Manager in Maryland. The role focuses on promoting health, safety, and well-being for individuals with developmental disabilities in residential settings through delegation-based nursing.

Responsibilities include ongoing assessments, supervising unlicensed staff, staff training, and ensuring timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of Maryland.
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience.
• Experience working with the developmental disabilities population.
• Maryland DDA-trained DD-RN certification (or eligibility).
• Current HRST certification.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Delegating nurse experience preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Independent Contractor | Maryland | Developmental Disabilities

Beatty Nursing & Training, LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a background in developmental disabilities (DD) to serve as a Delegating Nurse / Case Manager. This independent contractor role focuses on promoting the health, safety, and well-being of individuals supported in residential settings through a delegation-based nursing model.

Position Overview

The Delegating Nurse maintains a caseload and is responsible for:

• Conducting initial, 45-day, post-hospital, and ongoing nursing assessments
• Delegating and supervising medication administration and nursing tasks performed by unlicensed staff
• Training and evaluating staff competency in delegated duties
• Reviewing MARs and physician orders
• Collaborating with program directors, agency leadership, and healthcare providers
• Ensuring all nursing documentation is completed within required regulatory timeframes

This role offers a flexible schedule, with many home visits conducted evenings or weekends. Nurses self-schedule visits in coordination with program leadership.
