Qualifications

• High School graduate, GED or higher required.
• Six (6) months previous professional experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital setting preferred.
• One-year recent experience performing phlebotomy procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy specimen collection following SOPs.
• Identify patients and label specimens with 100% accuracy.
• Process and accession specimens and liaise with physicians and staff.
• Provide test status information and charting support to care units.
