Job summary

Hertz is seeking a Flexible Customer Service Associate to engage with customers on rentals, offering products and services and handling objections. The role includes shuttling customers and ensuring vehicles are prepared for pickup, including cleaning, damage assessment, fueling, and fluid refills.

You will work with a team in a fast-paced environment, providing world-class service and contributing to sales support while meeting performance targets.

Job description

The Flexible Customer Service Associate consults with customers on their rental. Maximizing revenue opportunities by actively offering products and services and overcoming customer objections. Ensures that the customer receives world-class customer service and sales support. The responsibilities also include shuttling customers. This position also ensures vehicles are prepared for customer pick-up, which includes cleaning vehicles. assessing damage, fueling, and refilling all fluids.

Location Hour of Operations: 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Get:

• Hourly Rate is $17.00 + Commission. This role provides On Target Earning potential of starting 2%; which includes monthly bonus plans.
• Bonus Plans: Eligible, Up to 12%
• Shift differential: Employees working 6:00 PM or later are eligible for an additional $0.50 shift differential hourly pay

• Strong computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems. Ability to multi-task on these systems while engaging with the customer in person and/or over the phone.
• Proficiency in English
• Strong oral and written communication of ownership, accountability, and initiative. Communicate in English clearly and proficiently. Candidates fluent in other languages are encouraged to apply
