Fairview Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Franklin, VA is hiring a COTA. Join a dedicated rehab team and provide comprehensive occupational therapy to residents under the supervision of an OTR.

Responsibilities include identifying suitable patients, documenting progress, obtaining orders, and assisting with billing and scheduling. A strong team focus, adherence to state guidelines, and ongoing education are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate with BA or Associates in Occupational Therapy recognized by AOTA.
• Current license/registration in state.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OT treatment under supervision of an OTR.
• Identify appropriate patients and refer them to rehab as needed.
• Document daily participation and progress with co-signature of OTR.
• Obtain MD orders for treatments, re-certifications and discharges.
• Attend facility meetings and participate in scheduling and team communications.
• Supervise junior COTA staff or students when needed.
• Comply with facility policies and patient confidentiality.
