The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan provides resident-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documenting observations, and supporting infection control practices in a long-term care setting.

Flexible shifts with evenings, nights and weekends, plus a sign-on bonus of $10,000. Competitive benefits for full- and part-time staff are offered, including health, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Formación

• Must have CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or be enrolled in a program to obtain certification within four months.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Satisfactory completion of annual competency testing and continuing education credits.

Responsabilidades

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with transfers, vital signs, meals, documentation and care planning.
• Maintain infection prevention and PPE use; participate in wellness and recreational programs.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse and co-workers.
