Sanford Health in Kansas is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

You will help with bathing, grooming, transfers, meals, vital signs, and documentation, while following infection prevention policies and PPE use. Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing, or in process of obtaining certification.
• Completes yearly competency testing and continuing education credits.
• In some states, certified and registered with UAP Registry.
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver with MRD and license.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques.
• Assist with meals and dining, provide water and supplements.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes as needed.
• Communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse.
• Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and vital signs.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry services to keep living areas clean.
