Qualifications

• Educated as CMA, LPN or RN by an approved program.
• Current licensure in Illinois or CMA certification.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Obtain medical information, chief complaints, vital signs and diagnostic test results and document in the medical record.
• Assist the physician by handing instruments, providing dressings, preparing equipment according to Infection Control Policy.
• Administer care treatments prescribed by the provider within scope of practice.
• Provide continuity of care by placing orders, scheduling tests and procedures, relaying results to providers and patients as appropriate.
• Serve as patient advocate and address complaints regarding service.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and family.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with incident reporting policy.
• Orient new personnel to specialty.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
