Acquire4Hire seeks a floater/substitute teacher in Riverdale, GA to adapt to daily coverage needs across classrooms, providing a safe, nurturing environment where children develop through exploratory play.

Responsibilities include promoting developmental skills, assisting with lesson plans, maintaining adult-child ratios, supervising students, and reporting concerns; the role supports teachers and participates in assessments and daily routines.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and at least 1 year of significant experience working with children.
• Must be 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to obtain required childcare clearances – FBI Fingerprinting.
• Ability to obtain health assessment and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Promote children’s social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development through daily activities and routines.
• Assist teachers in developing and implementing structured classroom environments and age-appropriate curriculum.
• Maintain required adult-child ratios at all times.
• Supervise children with constant sight and sound.
• Follow health and safety policies to protect children at all times.
• Report any signs of abuse or concerns to supervisors as required.
• Assist with assessments, observations and paperwork for clients.
