The Learning Experience in Smyrna, GA is seeking a Part-Time Floater Teacher to support classrooms for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. This role offers daily variety and the chance to impact multiple age groups while maintaining safety and developmentally appropriate learning.

As a floater, you will rotate across infant, toddler, and preschool rooms, assist with activities, meals, rest times, and transitions, and collaborate with teachers to ensure a positive, organized classroom.

Qualifications

• Comfort and confidence working with children ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old
• Flexibility to support multiple classrooms and age groups throughout the day
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities, classroom assignments, and staffing needs
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Dependable attendance and reliability
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR certification
• A patient, nurturing, energetic, and professional approach to working with children

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across infant, toddler, and preschool programs as assigned
• Assist with implementing engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Help maintain safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environments
• Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, toileting, meals, rest time, and transitions
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Follow classroom schedules, center policies, and state licensing requirements
• Step into different classrooms as needed to maintain quality care and appropriate staffing levels
• Support teachers and leadership in ensuring smooth daily operations
