Job summary

GPM Investments’ Scotchman store at Mayo, SC is seeking a Cashier/Sales Associate. You will greet customers, ring up purchases, handle lottery and tobacco/alcohol sales with compliance, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

You’ll also stock merchandise, assist in other departments as needed, and provide friendly service throughout shifts. We offer weekly pay, full-time and part-time options, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English effectively.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and operate the register accurately and quickly.
• Become knowledgeable in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification duties.
• Upsell customers to improve sales where appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety inside and outside the store, including restrooms and pumps.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; keep store organized and merchandise tidy.
